Gavin Betts has been named to Team Canada’s roster for the 2026 IIHF U18 World Championship in Slovakia.

A consistent standout for Hockey Canada, Betts has earned this opportunity following a Gold Medal performance at the 2024 U17 Challenge and a Bronze Medal at the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

The 2026 IIHF U18 World Championship will take place in Slovakia from April 22 to May 2.

We congratulate Gavin on this well-deserved honour and wish him continued success as he represents Canada on the world stage.
